Australian artist LXWF has been recently making quite the headline for himself with a collage of singles and projects under his sleeve. The ability to create music that seamlessly joins an array of emotions, sounds and subject matter has not been seen nor heard by many artists to this point. LXWF released his first single titled “TRY1N” in May 2021 which was followed up by his second headline “ANTiSOCIAL” in August 2021. Both features demonstrate the versatility and tone from the thriving artist, showing he’s equally comfortable rapping over a hard-hitting beat as he is floating over a mellow vocal sample. LXWF has certainly grown as an artist, refining a skillset that allows him to weave thoughtful, poetics into at-times dizzying cadences. He makes music that is fun, as well as having a particular emphasis on lyricism and storytelling. His latest single “ROV3R” is an absolute banger, which features a dynamic but also upbeat tone. While LXWF still has much to prove or show as an artist, he clearly has an understanding of how to create quality sounding music. The Newcastle (AUS) native certainly has the energy and passion for music like no other. It’s clear that LXWF doesn’t plan on stopping anytime soon. It’s great to see such a talented artist use his time and effort to chase his dreams and make something out of it!
