Big Jon’s return to the music world has been defined by persistence and steady growth. After releasing his EP on January 1st, 2025, he spent the year performing at small open-mic stages across Baltimore. Alongside live performances, he gained exposure through podcast interviews, written media coverage, and an interview with the internet radio station Chicago 77.3, helping build his name once again.
Later in 2025, Big Jon released additional music, including the single Level Up, recorded at Lounge Studios in New York City on September 3rd. In October, he returned to Baltimore to record more songs, beginning with Don’t Mess With the Flock. The diss track targeted the Baltimore Ravens organization, calling out their struggles, poor performances, and playoff shortcomings during the Lamar Jackson era. The song was released on November 5th, 2025.
He continued his momentum with the release of Persona on December 24th, 2025. Big Jon is currently preparing another single titled The Flames, expected to be released in January. Despite consistent progress, he has been working hard to find a manager or agent to help propel his career to a mainstream level. His long-term goals include touring nationally and collaborating with artists such as Olivia Rodrigo, Sabrina Carpenter, Tate McRae, Megan Thee Stallion, Alicia Keys, Kendrick Lamar, Eminem, Imagine Dragons, and others.
His dedication to music has always been fueled by family, particularly his mother. Tragically, in October, his grandmother passed away at the age of 89 due to kidney failure. Very close to her, Big Jon made a promise after her funeral in November that he would continue chasing his dreams in her honor and keep her legacy alive.
Looking ahead to 2026, Big Jon remains focused on growth. He plans to travel to Los Angeles in March to record a new single titled Reload, while continuing to perform live, search for representation, and pursue every opportunity available. No matter the challenges, Big Jon refuses to quit.
