Australian songwriter and singer Fiston Baraka, known by his stage name, Baraka The Kid, is an aspiring musician with an emphasis on persuasive sound. He released his debut album titled “Reveuse Dreamer” in 2020. This was a 14-song album that introduced the breakout star. Baraka managed to follow up with a collage of single soon afterwards. Songs like “Netflix” and “Outside” are just two examples of Baraka’s early releases. Baraka manages to convey an ambient style of music that merges Hip Hop and R&B. Listeners can even notice a style of Afro Pop complimenting an infectious beat or groove throughout each single or song. It shows how different and compelling the young artist is. Baraka stands out with his range of styles. With such versatility and admiration, it is no wonder that Baraka The Kid has garnered quite the following throughout social media and streaming platforms. Baraka The Kid offers aural atmospherics that is influenced by a collage of different sounds ranging from pianos, saxophones, trumpets, flutes, and different unconventional instruments. It is impressive to hear such different moulds of music infused through an array of different sounds or feelings. He has certainly left quite the impression with his debut album and follow-up singles in such a timely manner as well. He will be releasing an EP titled “The Big Picture” in May 2022. This project will be more personal and even explore different stories of his life. It will be interesting to hear what Baraka The Kid plans to deliver but it certainly will be no surprise that the young artist will bring his best with him!
