Australian rapper DZ is known for his verbal acrobatics, clever conceptual records and emotional revelations. It very well seems that the young up-and-coming artist is just now scratching the surface of his creative impulses. His breath control, visual narratives and imagery, and flow are only part of what caught our interest and fell a liking to his sound. DZ bridges the gap between annoying and preachy and casual, where you actually learn things by listening. He certainly has been dedicated and committed to making music. DZ has released multiple singles and two albums with the past two years of his career. His latest single titled “Monster” is an excellent example of devotion to music and why his energy is unmatched. His use of complex rhyme schemes, multisyllabic rhyming, weird time signatures, and more puts him close to the top. His voice, his flow, and his lyrical content fit so perfectly with the tone or groove of instrumentals on his first two albums. He’s showing that he can grow and evolve over his discography now and perhaps play with different sounds. you’ll hear an extremely intelligent rapper with an incredible command of rhyme schemes and multis, as well as an insane vocabulary. DZ had personally mentioned that a new album will potentially be released soon enough. The album will be called “From Here to Forever” which will also feature the legendary west-coast rapper The Game! It shows that the commitment to your craft will certainly pay off whoever or where ever you may be. DZ represents himself under an Independent record label called Trip Jacket Mafia, which was founded by his brother FriendlyFire, who is also a fellow artist, beat maker, and producer as well.
