KKOKO is stepping into music at a time when personality, confidence, and authenticity matter just as much as sound. Born and raised in Charlotte, North Carolina, and now based in the Dallas, Texas area, the emerging rap artist is building her name with a style rooted in trap, Southern hip-hop, and bold self-expression.

Her journey began with a real love for rap culture. Some of KKOKO’s earliest memories come from riding in the car with her father, listening to hip-hop, and rapping along word for word. Those moments helped shape her connection to music and introduced her to the power of lyrics, rhythm, and presence.

In today’s pop culture landscape, female rap continues to shape fashion, confidence, social media, and music trends. KKOKO is inspired by that energy while working to create her own lane. She looks up to artists like Cardi B, Megan Thee Stallion, and Beyoncé for their work ethic, confidence, and ability to turn music into a larger cultural presence.

After moving to Dallas, KKOKO began taking her artistry seriously by writing her own lyrics and practicing over “type” beats. Her sound is upbeat and trap-influenced, but her purpose goes deeper than making catchy records. She wants to create music that feels real, motivates listeners, and encourages people to stay true to themselves.

With her single “Certified” and EP Certified, KKOKO has started introducing her sound and image to new listeners. She has also performed at Roc Nation Summer Academy in New York, appeared at showcases in Dallas and Oklahoma City, and co-hosted an episode with Pirscription of Private Hip Hop Podcast in Waco, Texas.
