Cuckcoo Coco has recently released his latest album titled ‘Mood Street Gas Lighting’ a collection of studded songs and features that truly emphasize the diversity of the young rapper. Dozen Donuts had the opportunity to ask a few questions and dig a little deeper into who Cuckcoo Coco is. Enjoy!


What drove you to this field?

Cuckcoo Coco: I guess I’ve had an interest in music from a young age, so it only seemed natural to start making my own.


What is your creative process like?

Cuckcoo Coco: Unique every time to be honest.


Do you have any hobbies or interests outside of music?

Cuckcoo Coco: I like to go on walkabout.


What is it about music that makes you feel passionate?

Cuckcoo Coco: I guess all the different emotions a song can convey is a powerful thing to me.

Cuckcoo Coco: Hating my 9-5 even more I think.

Cuckcoo Coco: I’d die if I got to work with JPEGMAFIA.


What inspires you most?

Cuckcoo Coco: To be honest, other people’s art. Just taking in as much as I can to draw inspiration from I think is the main thing for me.
