Up-and-coming rapper Organtic is certainly an artist to keep and eye out for. With clever rhyme schemes and creative flows it really is a matter of time before the young rapper makes some major headlines! With the release of his EP ‘Organtic Dreams’ our editors here at Dozen Donuts asked Organtic a few questions and really dove into who he is as not only am artist but as a person as well.

What drove you to this field?

Organtic: When I was a kid I used to do funny remix’s
of songs on the radio and my family used
to always laugh about it and I used to try
to make beats on the computer off a
cereal application by Reese’s Puffs.
Around middle school I got real interested
in what different genres of music was from
hip hop, rock, r&b, all the way to classical.
I never took music crafting seriously I was
always just interested in it until about two
about 2 years ago and I said what’s
holding me back from doing something
musical. Nothin. So I jumped in.

What is your creative process like?

Organtic: My process is kinda chaotic really. But it’s
a method to my madness I haven’t found
yet but it always comes through

Do you have any hobbies or interests outside of music?

Organtic: I play basketball from time to time played
AAU a couple years and I used to play
American football from Elementary all the
way to college still will go out and get
active if anyone asked to play. I do
research on things I find interesting my
mind is always running.

What is it about music that makes you feel passionate?

Organtic: It’s really the after process I love and the
after product just makes it even better
when you know how much you put into it
and it’s just how you want. It’s art.

Describe your favorite and least favorite part about being a musician.

Organtic: Marketing is a bitch in this time of being a
artist it’s always been hard to get out
there but it was a lot easier back in the
day from having opening shows to
showcase yourself to just handing out your
tape. In this day and age you give
somebody a cd or tape they gonna laugh
and throw it away plus events are held still
but people barely go to them to listen to
new artist.

If not rap, what else would you be doing right now?

Organtic: Probably something artistic drawing or
pictures or something athletic wise. I still
got things I wanna do other than be a
rapper

What would be your dream collaboration?

Organtic: Juice wrld would definitely be one which
everybody probably says now or even
when he was alive but I really feel like me
him could make insane music and I related
alot to him which probably would to me as
well. Also Kanye and mick Jenkins.

What inspires you most?

Organtic: Really myself after seeing the stuff I can
do and when I put my mind too it I do it.
Myself belief is out of this world.
