If you are searching for authentic, barrierbreaking music, Daggy @Daggy561 is the artist for you. The Florida-native has released a collage of singles and videos throughout the past year or two. His first successful and running single titled “Liar” left quite an impression / draw on who Daggy is as an artist. The up-and-coming artist seems to not only smear different genres but also emotions into his music. Daggy takes creative risks that most artists wouldn’t dare try. The release of his 2020 single and complimented music video ‘Tonight’ places Daggy’s unique style and effortless charisma at the forefront. Each single is different. Daggy creates music that very well is an experience like no other. You may notice or pick up how every other song is somewhat influenced by experimental hip hop, alternative RnB, indie rock, and spoken word, bringing a refreshingly versatile style of music. Daggy is consistent, using his music to persuade his audience, where he not only succeeds but exceeds expectations. He is stretching the boundaries of his sound. Daggy reflects on his music as a means of building off one’s emotion or mood, and what the listener may potentially feel. Daggy’s past record “Red Eye” has been quite a compelling and exciting single itself. He describes and breaks down the single personally, stating:

“This song was recorded at Asylum Studios in Miami during a long weekend of sessions. However, Red Eye was last, and I booked this one session separately. It was my honest favorite. Knew it needed a lot of focus on the details, that would allow a better experience for the listener. When Rayvyn and Daggy come together it’s a hit. Shoutout to my engineer. I was able to pour out all my stories of emotion into this track. Nategoyard’s production is so therapeutic, he helped me pioneer this flight”

“This song means a lot, which is why I can understand it’s relatable. We all think about our problems, it’s how we address them that helps our understanding”. – Daggy

We look forward to hearing more from the young Florida artist and wish him the very best with his music!
